Has anyone here ever changed a rear main seal in an SN95 5.0??? How much work am I in for???

quite a bit man, how mechanically inclined are you? You can get all the info out of a Chiltons but you will need an assortment of tools, tq wrenches, and a lift would make it a lot easier.

Ya, if you remember last year when EVERYTHING in my car fell apart, that was one I had to deal w/...I dont remember what I paid. my ex's best friend did the work, so I'm SURE he charged me out the a$$.....I'll have to find the reciept. Might not help much, but I dont think it was as big expense as some of the other things that went wrong!

UPDATE

It's the back of my lower manifold leaking...aggravating, but less labor intensive than the rear main.
