So someone in the local chat said he has a friend with a Gen 3 with a nice vortech blower that wants to try it out, he had seen one of my vids so I said sure. It was gonna be a nice little meet, myself, Leo, the vortech 2019 and a Whipple shelby gt350. At the last minute the vortech owner changed it (moved up) due to weather so I came out. Did a couple 50s and 60s while dodging clouds until he gets tires for 40s and 50. He logged the pulls and will be sending it to Lund so see if any improvements can be made. Im really interested in running the whipple shelby, guy said it beats him by 1-2 cars and makes about 720whp. Hopefully after this hurricane. Enjoy

Disclaimer: Sorry for bad angle. I had the gopro setup, after the run I realized it didnt record due to no SD card in it. :(

There was a whippled gt350 at my local track last night. Owner couldn't drive for shit though.
Someone else jumped in, missed a gear, and went 7 tenths quicker than the owner....hahaha

Lmao I wouldn’t do that to them. But nice to compare powerband and setup from a couple different rolls

Owner still went 131 with his terrible driving. Car was LOUD too. Nothing like 8k rpm screaming by with extra air being crammed down its throat. It was a beautiful sound.

Thank you. I’ll try to upload some half decent pics of the car. Idk if it will allow me though.

Had to resize so I’m sure pics lost some quality.

A little over 2 months ago was last time. Ken Bjonnes held a rental during the daytime. But it served its purpose for logging car and getting used to the converter. Went 10.1s at 138 a little over 3000 DA.

Auto vs manual. That was the major discrepancy.

Likely. I don’t think a 10r80 swap alone would have changed the outcome.
