I picked up a new GT last week and as I was waiting in the dealership I was lucky enough to check out some of Sam Pack's Mustangs that were on display. I can't stress how pristine each of these cars were. I was totally smitten.

This was the very first S550 ever built

Check out all the zero's in that VIN

Really like the chrome accents on the taillights. Never seen that before.

There were so many one-off pieces on this Bullitt it must be a prototype of some kind. If anyone knows about this car, please share some details.

Wow those are some nice rides.
Bulliitt info please...
Just found this little bit of info
"The decision to put the Bullitt into production came after Ford received overwhelming positive response from consumers who first saw a concept version of the car at the 2000 Los Angeles Auto Show."

Found it at this link, with some pics of the car.

Wild stuff, quite a collection!

That S550 is a 50th anniversary package car hence the chrome tail lights, only available for 2015. They also did a "50th anniversary edition", 1964 were made only offered in Wimbledon white or Kona blue.

Did not know that about the chrome taillights. Thanks.

A relative of mine has a white 50th anniversary GT. I set its alarm off on accident when it was still in the hauler right after he got it home back in '15. Lol

So I remembered that I have one of the 300 copies of Engineer+Enthusiast=Excitement that documents literally everything from concept to production of the 2001 Bullitt and 2003-2004 Mach 1. This Bullitt car was originally a black GT that was being kept in stock at Roush to be one of their cars. Team Mustang, with the help of people at Roush, made the concept car. Here's a few pics out of the book.

What an absolutely stunning collection there. A lot of money right there. I'm blown away.

I assume that this special showroom is totally isolated from outside access.

That Bullitt is drop-dead gorgeous. I counted 18 differences (min) between that, and the '01 Bullitt I owned, #02066.

One piece hood/scoop, black mirror, shift knob, steering wheel, half split seat ribs, instrument cluster, fog lamp inserts, grille, Mustang emblem, rotors, caliper, wheel paint, center cap, rear bumper. spoiler, trunk lid, gas cap cover, dead pedal,...

It’s on the second floor, above the showroom of his new flagship store on President George Bush Turnpike in Dallas. It’s like a balcony that wraps around half of the showroom.

So there is/was at one time, a functional Terminator rear bumper mold with the word "MUSTANG" in it, not "COBRA".
Or at least one mold, with interchangeable inserts.

Wonder if it's scrapped.
