it should be the same, the only thing different i believe is the egr system on the 98

you shouldnt have to, if you have the complete 98 engine, the difference in the fuel system is the in tank pump on the 98

you should have no problem, the 96 intake stuff is no different then the 98, you can probably also use the 96 exhaust to eliminate the need to do the 98 egr system, other than that everything is the same

exhaust gas recirculation, the tubes coming out of the exhaust manifolds running to the intake and what not, i am not sure of the exact difference the only difference i know is in the front of the engine, the 98 has tubes going in front down by the crank pulley, you shouldnt have to worry about it if you use the 96 intake and exhaust manifolds, and put it all on as it would be your 96 engine
