for anyone running a 96-98 cobra with 3 chamber flowmasters-- are they lowder than stock mufflers? I want to put flowmasters on, but i don't want it to be too loud for when i drop the top. i plan on putting a bassani x-pipe also, which i hear adds to the loudness also, so anyone running this combo, let me know how it sounds.

Three chambers are barely any louder than stock. Go with the two chambers, believe me they aren't very loud. Well unless you take her to 6K :D .

If you are putting on an X-pipe and want flows, you might want to use the X-pipe with cats. Off road X-pipes sound horrible with chambered mufflers. If you are going off-road then I suggest the Bassani Cat-back, it comes with baffles to dampen the sound which are removable.
