98 Cobra Tune Question (IMRC/EGR deletes)

I'm putting a new motor in my Cobra, the IMRcs and EGRs will be deleted. Will the deletes trigger nothing more that some engine codes until the motor is broken in and gets a custom tune?

I don't want to shell out $$ to wipe some check engine lights when the car will be on a dyno 500 miles later.

I know without the EGR turned on in the tune the car won't run properly at part throttle. I believe without the IMRC's it won't run well either. Your tuner should be able to give you a tune with the proper changes for you to drive around on until you get to the dyno.

definitely need a tune with the IMRCs deleted. there are half a dozen tables or so that modify ign values bc of the IMRCs.

you should get tuned so its broken in properly and the calibration isnt all out of whack.
