Hey all Working on a 1998 Cobra, and this thing does not run right at all. Car runs extremely rich, and does not like to start when cold. Practically have to be full throttle to get it to start, and have to modulate the throttle for it to keep idle. Once it does start, it runs so rich it backfires. After it warms up, it seems okay but it is 100% not correct. This is not my car, but a friend of mine's, and we have been piddling with it on/off here recently. The previous owner of this car had built the bottom end of this thing, but I don't have a modlist on hand. The car has a brand new IAC valve, and the injectors look to be factory from what I could tell. I had the thought that the car would not run correctly with EGR gone/IMRC gone without a proper tune, but I am honestly not sure if that would cause such an awful running condition. Honestly, I am a SBF guy and have not messed with mod motors that much. Any insight/ideas are welcome, and food for thought is always appreciated. Thanks
