I’ve posted some questions and got great advice here over the last year after I purchased a 97 cobra that was severely neglected. Here are some before and after shots during the “refresh” to try and get it back to its former glory. For the bumpers, I sanded down and used the duplicator universal black and some spraymax 2k clear. It came out pretty good for only $50 worth of paint. The rest of the car was cut and buffed which took me forever it seems.

The seats are the ones from Jegs and so far are doing great, especially for $125 per seat. Thanks to everyone who answered My questions and I’m sure more to come!

Wow, you did a fantastic job with the refresh! The seats look to go very well with the interior. Nice choice. Overall, that Cobra went from trashy to stunning!

Thanks. Yes, the seats are pretty comfortable although I only have about a hundred miles or so since installing them.

Looks great!
I am doing the same on my 99.

I used dupicolor metalcast on the intake (smoked) , fuel rails (red) and valve covers (green).

Replacing coolant hoses next and pcv as well...may use blue/black hose candy as I cant find blue silicone hoses for mine.

Jeg seats are fine for the price and save money for other pressing matters.

Your paint held up good!
Mine is peeling everywhere it was redone...will use it to practice paint repair and save fir a paint job..

Good luck and enjoy.
