97' cammed mountaineer

Mustang motor in it with small cam. it has 139k miles on the body and 90k on the new engine. It needs its transmission rebuilt. I took it out already. I got 3 estimates to get it rebuilt local for 750 with a new converter. so for those of you interested, for under 2k dollars you can have yourself a cammed out mountaineer with a new tranny. I just don't have the money to finish this project and need the money.


First 1200 takes it.

a mountaineer with the V8 should be AWD............thats how my 97 was anyway

it's 2wd. mountaineers dont automatically come with awd. I'm glad it wasn't awd, the gas mileage would have been not as good

Really? Hmmmm I dont think I have ever seen a 2wd with the 5.0 in a mountain :dw: first time for every thing :shrug:...

Ive seen a bunch of 2wd and awd..but i would need awd.

I thought all early model mountaineers were AWD v8. Guess not......
