There should be a plethora of data and information available by now of how much HP and Torque a 96-99 Cobra Teksid aluminum block can reliably withstand. Properly tuned with sufficient fuel, for a moderately abused daily driver. But I’ll be damn if I can find it and I’ve been looking. Can anyone help?

I believe the generally accepted rule is up to 30lbs of boost or 1500hp with MLS head gaskets and if you need to clean up the bores the thinnest honing possible to keep the most material in the cylinder walls.

If you want more than that it requires o-ringing the block and using a copper gasket.
