Mystic and Mystichrome are often confused/interchanged. Here is a video that shows the differences in color between the 1996 Mystic and 2004 Mystichrome Cobras.

Interesting vid showing the differences in shifting color tones. The low angle of the sun in late fall, winter and early spring, really make the Mystichrome show off some great color shifts.

Thanks and yes! Mystic is a much richer color with the baseline being a dark root beer color. Mystichrome is much more vivid and lighter... it pops way more in the light. I dig them both and happy Ford offered these wild colors.

I drive my GT00 like I stole it. The 4 Cobras all live a good life and get babied, with the only exception being the R comes out for an occasional rip!

Love me some Kona Blue! It has nothing in common with Mystic or Mystichrome though. There is some purple in Kona, but it’s not even remotely similar.
