I recently (3-22-14) purchased a 96 Mystic Cobra off of this site. It arrived and the ABS light is on, air-bag light flashing, horn doesn't work, cruise control isn't working and there is a draw somewhere in the car. It is something I bought to drive on the weekend and was not expecting a fixer upper because I do not have a shop/tools nor the time for something like that now. I need help with the horn/cc issue because it obviously will not pass inspection with out a horn. I have checked all the fuses and replaced the horn relay and nothing has been fixed. My next thought is the clockspring? Has anyone had experience replacing this and if so is there a write up on it? Thanks for any help guys.

Disconnect battery
Take covers off of column
Take wheel off of column
The clock spring should pull right off. There are directions on how to reset the thing. You turn it one way, then back the other.
Reassemble and hook up battery and see what happens.

lol yeah its crazy here in texas. its one of the requirements
Yeah need it in md and de too for inspection
