I need to replace the starter on the '96 and need your help choosing a reliable starter with a reasonable price if possible.
I came across a FRPP hi-torque unit but it runs for $290.00.
spacer.gifspacer.gifspacer.gifIll pay what ever it cost for a quality unit. Please let me know what you know of.
Thanks, -Robb

Starters must not be one of those common parts we can all be effected by it.
I need to choose a good starter. DO NOT want to remove and reinstall that 3rd bolt on starter.
Any Help Appreciated!

No info here, other than I was on MMR today ordering some stuff and see where they have a starter that is not a reman.

I figured out that 3rd bolt this summer after I had to pull the starter to put motor mounts in. It is not that bad when you get it. Combo of extensions coming in from the front. There was a lot of cussing and had to quit one night before I threw something. Figured it out the next morning... Also helps to have the car way up on jack stands so you have room to move your arms around.
