We presume we are on borrowed time with our current fuel cell so................ Mark Smith and myself are working with "Glenn's Performance" to produce an aluminum fuel tank that looks like the fuel cell it will replace. The goal we have for this project is to create a tank that is a direct strap-in-bolt-up unit. We want to utilize the existing attached items: fuel filler tube and flange, the entire fuel pickup/return/pump array with it's flange intact, and the level sensor again with it's flange. Best case, just gasket and bolt the items directly to the new tank. My car is going to be Mr Guiney Pig so I'm in the process of pulling the tank, preforming a bladderectomy, and sending the empty fuel cell shell to Glenn. Then it is up to the master. Glenn's web: 1979-1997 Ford Mustang Fuel Tanks - Glenn's Performance Will let you know how it progresses........................ Regards, Bret.
