Does anyone have a clear picture of 95 R spark plug wires? Trying to see if there is a date code on them.

I looked through some of my 95R pictures and found this one, maybe it will help?
Definitely 1994 dated.

If I remember correctly, the 1995 Cobra R Dearborn build documents that I have say that these 5.8's were built in late 1994.

I will have to look at the 1995 Cobra R Unique Parts List or the 95R assy. line build add/delete list that is in those Dearborn build documents to see what wire set was used. I know the 1993-95 Lightning also had a red 5.8 wire set, but for some reason I thought I read a F5Z part number for the 95R, not a F3 Lightning number? I don't remember for sure, it has been almost 10 years since I was Cobra R literate.

I was wrong about the Lightning, according to the Dearborn documents, it was a 1993-1995 SVT Lightning set of wires that was used on the 95R 5.8...........

^^Those documents come in soooo handy when trying to figure out what Ford/SVT did when they were engineering the build for this unique car.

When I was looking for the info. showing these spark plug wires, I also found the memo where the Convert. X-Brace was deleted from the 95R build because of assy. line installation issues.

Just went to the basement to check my takeoffs. Same 1994 and SE codes with each wire number as well.

Correct. These were standard issue Lightning wires. Nothing extra in regards to date codes for the R.

Mark, you back?
