I have a 95 thunderbird that has been missing and will back fire if I keep giving it gas. I have been thinking its a clogged EGR valve but have been putting it off for over a year now. It will hesitate if I punch it or if I get the RPMs above 3g. Do I have to take off the intake to get to the EGR valve? I would like to try and make it a DD again so I can store the GT over the winter.
