howdy,

my '93 with 70k miles runs great when it's cold...right out of the garage. But once the engine starts to heat up the lower end of the engine range is a little fat and definately constricted. specifically: in second gear, a full throttle punch below 3500 is constricted/rich and then once it hits @ 3800 it comes ALIVE all the way to redline.

when cold, that same punch is solid all way from 2k to redline.

any thoughts???

mods: stock engine, full bassani exhaust with long tube, stock timing, all electronics have been replaced (plugs, coil, wires, cap/rotor).

this has been happening for awhile and it's not bothered me until now.

mine was doing somthing similar- only felt good up to about 3500 and would feel like you turned on the a/c after that- but when cold it was fine too. several people on here told me to clean my maf so i did along with my tps and basically my whole throttle body while i was at it- problem went away completely and has not come back since. It also seemed to really wake the thing up too!
