93 cobra roof rail mouldings

Anyone installed a set of these? They come with no instructions. If anyone can let me know how to do it without damaging the paint I would much appreciate it! Thanks in advance.

There's a couple of retainer screws in the door jam but most of it just pulls off. It's sealed in place with black goo (butal?)

The black goo is like window adhesive for front windows. Make sure you were rubber gloves, or you hand will be black for some time.

The ones i've ordered from Latemodel Restoration have clips and "pre installed adhesive". Do the clips just sort of snap in to the rail?
