I was thinking you were already able to run under 9.50s now?
There is a video in the thread of a 9.50 pass, so you'd be correct.

I'm talking about 9.30-9.00 range, just waiting to get with Ken B. from Lund Racing to work on the trans tune for shit points. That should make a huge difference.

I thought I remembered that. Those transmissions can be a handful to tune but I'm sure Ken will get it done.

I had 3.73s with that trans and we had a lot of trouble getting the shift points right. The problem, as I was told, was first gear is so short that the trans can't do the calculations quick enough.
Talk to Jake an PBH about this. He is the one that suggested the 3.15s that I run now.
Just trying to help.

The car went 11.20@122 N/A with a 2000 rpm stall, 10's N/A would not be a problem with a re-stall. The car has been 9.70-9.50 140-146 trap 6 times

Making some progress with the car this week, planning on logging and hitting the track Friday as long as the weather holds out.

Did you make it to the track?

I did the car went 9.80 @ 145mph back to back in 85* heat with no cool down. The tune up was a mild 17* of timing and 7100 RPM shifts.

We swapped the gears from 3.73's to 3.08's to try and keep the car from spinning in the 1-2 2-3 shifts. It slowed the 60' down slightly but the power is down from the lowered timing and the shift point is down to try and make a clean pass.
