I had it happen to me. The prices to fix it were just to outstanding. So i went to tccoa and followed the procedure to replace the abs system with a conventional one. total cost with new everything was 170.00. To fix my abs was anywhere from 100.00 to 650.00 to 1700.00 that of course depended on what was wrong with it.I live in Wisconsin so I grew up with rear wheel drive in the winters so I don't need the 4 wheel sick brakes. that was the only thing that was good about that system. I like the room that I now have in my engine compartment. The time it took to do it was not bad. I started on a Friday night and was driving the car again with no problems on Saturday afternoon.
