These are pulled from a 2004 Lincoln Aviator, as you know the DC casting is the latest and greatest revision of the 4.6 DOHC C heads as the coolant passages have been revised to help coolant flow on the driver’s side.
This particular set is a DC casting on the driver’s side and DB casting on the passenger’s side. This makes no difference because the passenger’s side doesn’t need coolant path help like the driver’s side does. I do have a DC passenger side head as well if you have OCD and absolutely need the same casting number, but it truly makes zero difference as the DB is also a 9 thread. To swap out the DB passenger head for the DC casting is $250 more. Upcharge is only because the DC passenger head can be repurposed as driver’s side head.
Cams are stock 03/04 Cobra/Aviator cams.
