9.77 with my Hellion Single!

Not really excuses but conditions kind of sucked today. It was really hard for me to hook today. It was very cold and windy. Upper 30s and the car didnt want to hook with anything more then 18#s. I was planning on running 25#s

I didnt even make one full pass all day without having to let out :fm:

9.778@126 this was letting out @ the 1000 ft mark. The wind was pushing the car all over the place it wasnt worth risking it.

Motor combo 8.2:1 CR .020 motor. Stock heads/cams/intake TH400. Single Hellion kit with a Billet Precision 76mm

Im happy though. The car went 9s on pump gas/meth easily and I know it has alot more left in it. Best short time of the day was a 1.44, this was leaving @ 4000rpms. Car felt real strong all day, it was just really hard to keep it from spinning because the ground was so cold.

Thanks guys. If you search my posts I have alot of build threads on my setup. Just search the posts that I started, you will find alot of pics and info, I also have a recent forsale thread you can find all the details about the car in as well

As far as cost. There is around $40k in mods, not including labor (which I do myself) and tuning. Its not cheap!

Im done for the year. Maybe in the spring if I still have the car. Im trying to sell it.

Probably around 600-650rwhp. The car made 550rwhp @ 15psi and 765 @ 25psi. My car has never made huge dyno #s.
