have up for sale a 1986 mustang gt.
factory sunroof, power window, rear defroster, power steering, power door locks, air conditioning.
it is a 5.0 and aod combo. the rear gears are 3.27.
I did replace the rear posi clutches, rear axle seals and bearings. I put royal purple full synthetic diff fluid in it. also, I did a rear 5 lug conversion. it has brand new rear brake drums and ranger axles.
I never got around to doing the front 5 lug conversion.
so I have a pair of 98 cobra rims (17x8)on the rear and 4 lug aluminum wheels on the front.
the car comes with the other 2 cobra rims and the other two 4 lug wheels.
I am also throwing in a spare std bore XXX block, alternator, high flow water pump and brackets, with the sale.
I put an a/c delete kit on.(I still have all a/c pieces) this moves the power steering pump up to where the a/c was.
the car idled rough when I got it. so I put a new iac, cap and rotor, spark plugs, upper intake gasket and throttle body gasket.
it runs a lot better but not perfect.
the trans shifts good and the car has pretty good pick up and go.
still has factory air cleaner box.
it has a lot of potential and is a classic.
