I can't say enough good things about this engine, as I own one. 600 HP is possible on this motor naturally aspirated.

yes and no. Displacement alone doesn't determine reliability, but this engine's internals would handle 600 hp without breaking a sweat.

Like most factory motors it will need better Rods and Pistons to make any real power. Crank seems stout and valve-train seems good tho as it has beehive springs but IDN what the spring rate actually is tho.
