I thought I would detail the conversion I have started, I have started the 6R80 conversion on the lightning, I will be using a 6R80 from a 2011 F150, factory ECU with a TPS motorsports adapter plate so I can run a M122 and use a GT500 Throttle body. I will be working on this over the next few months and wanted to share the progress. I have just bolted the transmission to the bellhousing, and installed the M122. I have a Cobra Jet Throttle body installed for the pic, but will likely be using a stock GT500 throttle Body.
Next step I will be building the crossmember.
Mods before conversion: Manley Rods/pistons, ported stock heads, Bullet Cams, Posi ported m112, tb, and midplate, JLT intake, Slot Maf, Dynojet 498 HP, 560ish ft lbs (don't remember exact numbers
