That's about as basic a truck interior as you'll find. Get's the job done is a non-dramatic way.

Here's a nice looking 2000 Crew-Cab F-350 4X4 Dually that sold on BAT in June (12K miles) for $44K. It would sell north of that with today's market.

I don't know why I want that but I want that. I miss the simplicity of manual transmissions and basic trucks.

The ZF6 in that truck is probably the best manual transmission ever fitted to a pick-up. I really wish it, perhaps in the form of a 7-Spd with a deep final OD, was available in a new Ford Super Duty.

Grandpa still has his, 2000 F350 7.3 6 speed dually.

Either that or because it’s slow as shit. Not exactly what you want in an emergency. lol
There used to be tons of 7.3s in ambulances, and other heavy duty rigs. Jist because it was purchased for a fire station, does not mean it was a fire truck. Plenty of the fleet vehicles went to remote municipalities. they rarely had to use their support vehicles. Looks like the case here. Undercarriage looks like it has not been mounted with a back half.
