Am looking to do this and had a few questions. Want to start with buying engine and trans used. Heard mustang engine is better 2013 or newer I think. On eBay u can buy pull outs engine trans and harnes and computer. But I need a 4x4 trans out of an f-150. Is the mustang engine that much better? Will the computer and harnes in a mustang control the f-150 6r80? I'm just trying to make sure I buy the right stuff. Thanks for the help

Why not get a 5.0 and trans out of an F150?
Ya sorry I plan on getting a mustang engine computer and harnes. Prob buy the entire set up with trans and just sell the 2wd trans and buy the f-150 trans. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything like what year engine/ computer / trans. Or if it doesn't matter. Like will a 2014 mustang computer work with a 2011 f-150 trans ect ect
