1968 Pro Street Camaro pump gas 800HP 540BB, New FBPerf Auto Trans w/OD, dead straight body, perfect lines doors close like new, no rust, Deep Gold, Classic Black Vinyl top, Gloss Black Nose stripe, Classic look dual side mirrors, beautiful carpet, tight weather-stripping. This is not a project car. It’s a very detailed ground up restoration completed in 2009. Interior dash/console looks like it’s 1968, with glossy paint, wood grain, not resto-mod or aluminum panels, looks stock except for Kirkey seats, Hurst Qtr Shifter and 8 point padded roll cage. Old fashioned American Muscle Camaro with upgraded brakes, suspension, transmission. Guaranteed wide smile as you drive down the street thumbs up horns will be beeping.

This BB540 car idles 850rpm with very deep low end bump, growls like a grizzly rolling off a light and roars like a dinosaur at 3500rpm. It’s the perfect blend of big power, head turning cruise night show quality, driveability and reliability. This ’68 Camaro is street driven and rides on M/T Sportsman street tires. Rolls on the highway effortlessly 60mph / 1900rpm with 12V push button OD activated from 3rd gear. Same button acts as 5500 Trans Brake when stopped. Toggle activated Line Lock. Scaled at 3300lbs.

Chevy BB Merlin pump gas 540cid, 9.5:1C, 796HP 7000rpm / 780 FWTQ @5500rpm, Lunati steel crank , J&E Forged Pistons, Dart Pro 1 335 Heads cnc’d by Dart, Lunati 693L roller cam, 278/281 Duration at .050, stud girdle, Holley Electric Fuel pump, Tuned Holley 1050 Dominator HP 4500 Series R-8896-1, MSD 6AL-2 Step Ignition box , MSD Pro Billet Mod.6421 Distributer, Timing 38 Degrees Total, MSD 8.8MM wires, MSD Blaster II Coil, Powermaster High Output Alternator, American Autowire complete electric harness to fuse box upgrade.

TRANSMISSION:
New(3/13) FB performance built Turbo 400 with manual forward valve body, Hurst Qtr Shifter W/Push Button OD & 5500 Stall, 10” Street Converter, 5000rpm limit Line Lock,
HD Rad Mount Cooler, Gears : 1st=2.42, 2nd=1.38 3rd=1:1, 4th = ..066OD Goes 60mph at 1900rpm or 70mph at 2300rpm, Transmission Rated at 1000+HP.
BRAKES/SUSPENSION:
New Wilwood Master Cylinder Polished Aluminum 1” Bore , Model 260-8555P,
Rear discs are Wilwood WWW150-8850KCalipers, Front discs are stock Camaro.
Front shocks are 90/10 Coilovers, Rear Coilovers with 4-Link, Wishbone Suspension, 9” Full Polished Detroit Locker, Moser 35 Spline Axles, 4.30 Rear Gears . Removable Wheelie bars.

COOLING:
Polished Electric Hi-Flo CSR BB Chevy Mod.900N Water Pump, BeCool 3” Aluminum Radiator, 160 Degree Hi-Flo Thermo, Old School Moon O-Flow Tank, Runs 175 degrees mostly all summer, 180-185 degrees in 85+ heat and 165-170 degrees off season .
