Car is sick. Cool story to go with it and love the family build.

Beautiful car, impressive runs, and an LT1? As in a Gen 2 sbc ?

I would guess way more than 800 whp considering that he is putting multiple bus lengths into some pretty bad ass cars. Also, what is with the +/- 30 mph trap speed?

My thoughts exactly. That thing isn't edging em out. He's destroying them.

200r4's were put in a ton of cars that were far more meager than GNs, T's, GNX's and TTA's. They can be picked up cheap and easily built to handle a car with this level of power.

I think that is the 1/2 day at Colorado Springs airport. I saw that car, it is beautiful to say the least.

I wasn’t paying attention during the first runs, but check out that tail wind on the +30 mph pass (flags at start line).

Edit: Yep, that’s exactly it. There was a front coming in. Temps / DA dropped and there was a HUGE tailwind.
