I believe Indy power products does. I covered it in this vid:

Thanks for sharing this. I need to spend some more time on YouTube checking out builds for the 7.3 in a fox. Definitely not looking into being a pioneer in this space. If a 7.3 could fit without body/hood modifications in a fox I will need to seriously consider it.

With the proper oil pan and intake, it falls right into place.

Hell yah! This thing will be a beast for us NA guys. A couple points of compression and E85 and will make a fun street car. Wish it had higher rpm range like the LS7. I hope its easily swappable into the SN95 platform.

The peak torque rpm and the fact that it makes more torque than hose power screams it has too small of a cam. Put a proper sized cam in there and it would pick up a lot, probably an easy 60 horsepower without touching pistons or fuel.

Yep, I agree. In the video I believe the person from Ford said they will offer another cam spec which is geared toward high RPM power.

Missed bumping into you Travis but it was a pretty packed show.
The Ford GT was the best I saw and this crazy green Fox was a second place contender. Couldn’t pin Justin Starkey down but glad to see the new 3100 TVS will finally happen.
7.3 Godzilla definitely seemed to be the big deal this year. I also missed the Harrop 3100 7.3 but glad I made it to the show.

That's great to see Ford investing money in an engine like this given the current landscape. I wonder if a Godzilla control pack will also be released. Having something that is completely bolt in/plug in would be awesome.

Not sure why this is so impressive, this sort of thing has been around for years - just from GM instead of Ford. Ford finally made a large displacement V8 that is worth a shit. Unfortunately normally aspirated motors suffer from the same issues at altitude and there is no replacement for a turbo diesel.

615HP - 7.3L MEGAZILLA Crate Engine is Here!!! | PRI 2022

View attachment 1772993

Hanging out in the Ford Booth at PRI is always one of the highlights of the show. Not only is it manned by a great group of incredibly knowledgeable guys, but if you stick around long enough nearly everyone you know in the Ford performance industry will stroll through. That booth essentially becomes an unofficial meeting space for those of us deep in the Blue Oval game. Then there's the parts...

This year the Ford Performance Racing Parts guys debuted the all ne 7.3L MEGAZILLA Crate Engine. Cranking out 615HP and 640 LbFt of torque on pump gas. Even more impressively, it makes over 500 LbFt from 2,500-6,000RPMs. Mike Goodwin, Production Manager for Engines/Drivetrain/Calibrations, took time to walk us through the features of the new pushrod bruiser and Ford's other new products on display. Check out the vid:

The new front-inlet intake manifold is a dead giveaway that you're not looking at a standard Godzilla engine.

View attachment 1772991

The beauty cover on the intake is a nice touch.

View attachment 1772992

The most surprising thing about this engine to me is how little upgrading it actually needs to make the power it does.

View attachment 1772986

In case you were wondering, this is what the head bolts and gasket for a Godzilla looks like.

View attachment 1772985

And this is the timing set.

View attachment 1772987

Ford was not the only manufacturer showing off 7.3L parts. BTR had their short runner intake on display.

View attachment 1772988

Mahle (Megazilla piston supplier) had a 3D printed Godzilla piston in their booth.

View attachment 1772989

The bigger bore of the 7.3L is easy to spot when compared to a Modular engine.

This short block has a lot of LS stopping to take a look.

I want to do the 7.3L swap on my gen 1 Raptor!

A little boost to this monster...I can't see why it shouldn't purr at 14psi. Right around 1200hp, I'm betting. Iron block, completely forged bottom end. Seems feasible.

I agree with you but at the same time who offers a modern tech pushrod V8 at this displacement?
Especially at large volume.
It’s cool to know one of the guys who really made it happen. Instead of updating the 6.2 they dusted off the SBF Windsor and thankfully made it big.
Hard to complain about this when it’s a dying breed.

The engine fits a fox remarkably well. Its easier to swap in a fox than a coyote swap.

The real issue is that its 150 pounds heavier than a coyote. And with a whipple on its over 700 pounds for the engine alone. Thats a ton of weight in an already nose heavy foxbody.

Exactly correct. It’s basically a 9.5 deck SBF but only comes in a CGI iron block.
Centrifugal blower should be a lighter power adder if not going NA.
This was a negative for the SOHC 6.2 iron block as well but once you get the rear suspension working at the track the nose weight isn’t as bad as hooking on the street/no prep.
It won’t surprise me if we see an aluminum block variant in the near future if the use it in other platforms, mainly F150/Mustang?
