2014 auto gt. stock converter, CAI, bama 93 street tune

305 35 19 nitto NT05R. best 60 foot of 1.95. no burnout, just a cleaning, and bigger burnouts do not help, leaving at more than 1800 results in spinning thru first. car run 12.50s at 110 to 112 depending on temp. the air was 55-60 degres, maybe just too cold. also trac control on or off amkes no diff

What am I doing wrong? (ON Sumitomo 275 street tires the car goes 2.00 sec)

Thoughts? THANK YOU, Chris

You need a converter. I have the same tires and mild burnout I got a 1.7 60'. But I have a 3400 stall.

So if it doesnt push thru the faster spinnig tires will get more traction? That seems counter intuative because I was spinning anyways. how does that work???

I go off idle but don't stab the hell out of it. I got towards wot quick but just don't stab it super fast. But even on DR's, the stock converter won't help much in that combo to lower your 60's.
What psi do you have them at? 18psi works pretty good for me. And you need to heat them up if it's that cold. Do they prep the track well or is it crap?

Once I get a better tire or slick, I'll run my off around 3000-3400 and launch. But nt05rs are ok tires. Not the best.
