Is there an accurate calculator people use to determine changes from 60-130 to the 1/4 mile without testing 1/4 mile? For instance if a car gains 2 seconds from 60-130 what should that gain be in the 1/4 mile?

not sure if such a thing exists but figured I would ask...

Doesn't really work that way. If you have an accurate weight of your car you could estimate your HP from the 60-130, and then use that to estimate what your car COULD run in the 1/4 mile assuming optimal tires, gears, suspension, etc

But that makes about as much sense as an elevator in an outhouse.

Eh, take it to the track!!! You're only about 45 minutes away from Byron Dragway if you're in Kane County. ;)

My car basically sucks from a legit 60-130 but outperforms most in the 1/4. It’s not a direct comparison
Based off your signature, you 9.6 ran at 143mph, your car is coming out of the whole real strong which explains why your going to beat most cars from a dig or a quarter mile. I trapped close to where you did but ran a 10.5 when I made around 850whp… From a dig in a quarter mile, you would have beaten me by close to 10 cars, from a roll we would have been door to door. I’m well over a 1xxx now, so you still might beat me in a quarter mile, but would probably get walked from a roll (if I can hook) as these setups usually yield 148-153mph trap speeds. Always a drivers race either way. Hope that helps.

That’s a little outdated

I was just passing through and saw this interesting question you posted. The answer is yes. I wrote an excel program that can extract your 60-130 ET or your 0-60 ET from a Time Slip. In fact, it will give you your 33-126.7 ET if for some strange reason that was important to you. It will tell you the TQ and HP at the wheels that you developed during that pass and about 100 other interesting facts about your car's performance during any particular pass down the 1320. Give me a Time slip and lets see how well your V performed.

1.39 seems kind of soft for a 9.0 run.
It makes some pretty good steam out the back end.
But all that may be due to weight ect trying to get it to go the first 60'

My program is designed for a full 1320 Drag Strip Time Slip. Any chance you have one. Even a marginally accurate Dragy will work. FYI.. Dragy's can be accurate but far more often they are +/- .02s off or even worse. Of course Dragy says that in their own literature.

Here is one output chart for Darkmach 1's Time slip he posted next to his procharger. I wonder if he knows he busted a 4.633s 60-130 on that pass. His Trap speed was 153.16 mph but his Terminal Velocity at the finish line was 157.90 mph

Would be interesting to see your program on this slip. I haven’t had a chance to get a good Dragy run yet.
