This weekend was eventful and productive, I'm trying to tie up some loose ends and dealing with a larger event that knocked me off course with the build (more on that in a couple weeks). Got a new power steering pump installed to eliminate an annoying leak that kept getting fluid on the belt and then all over the engine bay. I dropped the fuel tank and will be installing a roll-over valve and a -6an vent line to allow the tank to breath. she's building up pressure as the fuel gets hot from the return style fuel setup and the lack of venting means I have to fill the tank slowly. (photos to come when the roll over valve arrives) Moved some of the fuel lines away from the exhaust. The lines were ran before the exhaust was fabricated so it all ended up a little too close for my taste. The plugs for the Holley coil drivers put just enough pressure on the back of the glove box that it started to deform after a year or so. Grabbed a piece of aluminum and remounted the coil rivers with the aluminum stock behind the glove box. Super easy fix. Sorry these updates are all pretty minor, the build is nearing the end. I will continue to update it as I go along to make sure the whole build is documented, regardless of how minor the progress.
