A few more small updates. I got tired of looking at the two black plugs in the drivers side shock tower and decided to order 2 mineral gray plugs from bumperplugs.com I used these guys to fill the bumper holes in my 97 and I’ve been very happy with them. before: After: I also installed carbon driven carbon fiber interior trim. After the trim I pulled the waist gate and swapped out the springs so the native boost without CO2 will now sit around 14psi. Before it was 5/25 which meant if I was out of CO2 or just driving the car it wasn’t that much fun. I think 14psi will be great for runs to the grocery store. I also decided how to set up the switches for the remote CO2 bottle opener, Exhaust cut out and Line Lock. I’m going to use a speed of sound center console switch panel. Sounds great except they have a hole for a nitrous pressure gauge and I’m not running nitrous.... however, I have CO2! Now, I realize for refill purposes the accuracy is limited, but it fills the hole and should look good. I didn’t like the “glow shift” or “nitrous pressure” illuminating so I pulled the gauge apart and covered them with some black electrical tape. Due to the tinted lens, you can’t see the tape at all. In the photos below the black bezel for a just sitting on the gauge so it’s not perfectly centered. before: During: After:
