I recently purchased a Romac performance series balancer for my snake but I'm unsure as to whether or not I need to have the factory crank pulley balanced to it. I'm going to eventually upgrade all my pulllies but for the time being the stocker is being slapped back on.

Not sure if I understand the question, but you do not need to have the crank pulley ballenced to it. Just install the Romac and all will be good.
if its an SFI approved pulley you shouldnt need it balanced...
Awesome! For a minute there I wasn't sure if my question made sense either. I remember reading something about aftermarket crank pullies being nuetral so I guess I took it to literal and assumed the factory one might've been matched to the factory pulley. Nonsense I know but that's why you guys rule!
Just make sure the new balancer is a 50 oz balance and all will be good.
