That's awesome man! It still seems like there is limited information floating around online about these kits, when they absolutely work! I can't blame you one bit for wanting to jump ship to a positive displacement blower. I debated long and hard when I first was deciding which way to go and I'm so glad I went with the Tork Tech kit. At 2500 rmps its making 350+ ft lbs, by 2800 rpms my car is almost at 400 ft lbs of torque to the tires. Usually if we're going to race someone or do a pull I don't get into it until 3k rpms anyways. With some sticky tires and sticking it all down right away its a fun car to drive! I don't think you'll have any issue with the blower being ported, typically you lose a pound or two of boost with them being ported anyways so if anything the tuner will just be able to dial back timing to not make to much power and keep it at a safe level. Really it will be more efficient with a ported blower on it, so I wouldn't be concerned with that one bit. If you had to you could always dial it back to the 3.4 pulley. I would 100% recommend getting the billetflow quick change hub for easy pulley swaps. As far as tips for installing it there's nothing to it really. I put the blower on when I was 21, at that time it was the most in depth install of anything I had ever done. I started the project with very little mechanical knowledge. Now I can rip it apart in no time, so you wont have any issues with the install at all. The only thing you really have to do is grind down the front portion of the block for the bottom intercooler fitting to go into the intercooler. Other than that it's just nuts and bolts and pretty straight forward!
