Winning Bid USD $41,000

A lot of money for a slow car, : D
Our 67 fastback is slow. Especially compared to today's standards. And it wasn't cheap.

HP isn't everything, especially on older classics.

SO true Brady. Hell, if speed/quickness was an absolute factor with the classics, a '70 Hemi Cuda wouldn't sell above $50K. LOL. Pretty much every car from the '60s through '90s is slow compared to today's standards.

A stock 2003-4 Cobra is getting slow comparatively nowadays. In just over a year, the 2003 will be old enough to be considered a classic by many organizations (20 years). As long as I can beat 90% of the cars on the road, that's good enough for me. To stay "competitive' - a blower swap is required really. Who would have thought a NA factory 5.0 could give a supercharged 4.6 a run for the money?

Technology is a wonderful thing, sometimes. Too bad the noiseless, heartless and soulless EVs is burying the ICE before our very eyes.
