Hello all, first let me say I did this test "just because" Iam experiencing NO issues and the car runs very strong. Sometimes I get a faint oil burning smell from the exhaust when I stop at a light. I have no cats, but it does not smell like any other cat-less car Ive had.

Car is a DD and just turned 37K. Its a 2011 and has had an AED tune for @ 1000mi, prior to that no tune. The tune is amazing Im a AED customer for LIFE, and I drive the car like I stole it. Car drives better than stock and working with Shaun was great, his customer service is bar-none to boot. I used a cheap O'Reillys compression tester so how accurate the numbers are is unknown. All the plugs were around .050-.055 does anyone recommend closing that some?? Opinion on plugs welcome...

From Philly now Tampa, Fl
I did a comp test on my car a couple weeks ago with the same results. (Perfect)
These motors are really tough. The smell is because your catless and I have also complained about it when I removed the cats.

Glad to hear, same numbers too? Ya I know (the smell) is from being cat-less, I've had plenty of cat-less rides this one just has a tad diff smell. I wonder if its some of the oil on the plugs seeping into the cylindar?

Plugs need to be a step colder, heat mark is to far down the strap. Your are running rich, but if I was a tuner I would put it on the rich side. The last plug looks like you have some fouling going on, lots of carbon on the insulator. Picture three that plug has black spots on the insulator, could be oil, but often sign that there is some piston melting going on. If you can cut the threads off you can read more about issues that maybe going on in the motor. Great read about spark plug reading, http://honda-tech.com/forced-induction-16/***-basics-reading-spark-plug***-3063102/

This is way old gents, it was more of a milage/comp check... I'm now at 44k and have been boosted for some time.... Still AED tuned.
