If the rearend is square and properly controlled, you do a little massaging inside the wheel well, and get the correct backspacing, then no.

I still have quad shocks in the OEM position. No rolled fenders, and no rubbing. Dropped on FRPP C springs.

That is on a GT with an SRA though. I can stuff 335s under there if I want to.

Forgot to mention (and not that it matters much) but I have full eibach sportline suspension with upr upper and lower rear control arms. At least I don't think that has anything to do with fitment of wheels and tires..? I could be wrong.

as long as you are stock height, you are GTG. my Cobra is lowered so I had to do some trimming to get the 315s in without rubbing. I still take it easy when I turn and I scout my route.

Not at all. Got 315s on my 96 with the quad shocks still in there. No rubbing at all with progressive rate springs.

Luckily I read the very first reply. Otherwise I was about to start replying like you were trying to fit them up up front.

315s on 17s should be no issue out back. I have only run 295s, but i had 1.5'' spacers on without rolled fenders, and was lowered on HR race springs. But still you should not have any issues specially if you get rid of or flip the quadshock
