Looking for some real world experience. I currently have a 19" rim, however it is 9.5" wide. I know a 305 can fit, however I have seen some debate on whether it should be done or not. Im wanting to stick with my current wheels, so im looking for advice on whether it can perform properly at a higher horsepower level. When all said and done, car will have low 9xxWHP (whipple on e85, 2018 10R80 car). It will see some track time, but for the most part it will just be a weekend street toy. I would rather run a Nitto NT05R radial. however, the smallest they are made for a 19" inch rim is a 305. Otherwise i would have to go to a 285 MT ET street s/s. Opinions or thoughts?
