This. Social media has really ruined pretty much everything. Bunch of mindless douchebags standing around filming cars leaving a show.

Yep, the driver knowing everyone would have their phones out recording and posting to social media more than likely contributed to this very bad decision.

People will never learn. Similar stunts seem to happen all the time. Leave a show in a high powered (expensive) muscle car, turn left on exit (or right), and right at the end of that turn go WOT. Probably gave in to the urge to show off a bit.....for the fans. Yep, not smart.

Will insurance cover negligence like this? Or is dad going to have to foot the bill.

depends on the policy I guess, some of the specialty policies are pretty damned strict about listed drivers etc...

It's not?

Considering there is only

134 x Midnight Purple III R34 GTRs,
17 x Z-Tune R34s
44 x 400R R33
118 x Nismo N1 R32s
64 x Vspec N1 R32s
63 x Vspec II N1 R32s

100 x R35 Nismo T-Spec

So yeah, 1 of 300 Nismo GTRs for a given model year isn't exactly "rare".

Hell, by that standard any 3rd Gen R34 is "rare".

I did just get “rarer” ahaha now these are at most 1 of 299. As the 1 of 300 Doesn’t look promising at making any more cars n coffee in the near future.

Lets be honest, all those idiots standing around weren't watching the cars leave, they were waiting for exactly this. It's every show, people crowd around hoping for this so they can put it on their youtube.

It's "rare" only by the virtue that Ford made +100k Mustangs THAT year alone.

Any 2021 GTR is more "rare".

I believe half of all Gen 3 R35s are Nismo Editions.
no way they produced 300 Nismo in calendar year. The production figures are for all GTR models combined (premium, track, nismo).

As I recall they produced just over 50 a year in its peak in 2015/2016.

I owned a premium 2017 which was one of the 578 produced that year.
