3:73 gears with 245 P zeros 19.5" rims

I have 3:73 gears( auto) with 245 P zeros on 19.5" rims. Does the height of my tire increase or reduce the 3:73 ratio effectiveness; IE: with the height do I have more or less than 3:73 final ratio?will I get more from 18"s or 20"s or does it really make a difference?

245s on 9.5s.... That can't be good.

A taller tire will essentially lower your final drive, I.e. Give it taller gearing.

Let me get this right; my 3:73 would be moving upward closer towards a 3:90;not downward towards 3:55.

Check your tire sizes here to see if they're taller or shorter vs. your original size. If they're taller then that will knock down your 3.73's a little and if they're shorter then the number will go up a little. Your probably not far off your original sizes so your gears were probably not affected too much. And as someone else stated 245's on a 9.5" wheel is really stretching it and not ideal.

245-45zr-19 is the stock tire.

I have been running my stock 245 on my front with RTR wheels for sometime without issue. I have a 275/40 on the rear

its not that big of a deal with a 40 series tire.

Mine are 255-40/19 but the Brembo Wheels aren't 9.5" wide either
