And at 8100rpm too? Do I read that right? That sounds wild but I guess that is probably to be expected for a race motor?
Correct, we normally run them between 8000 and 10,000rpm depending on camshaft and Turbo
A gain of 1200hp in the last 2000rpm. That’s wicked.
I wish they would just turn the wick up. I'm tired of seeing these blah, low HP pulls. They are so.........ho-hum...
For real. 2000 HP. 10,000 RPM. Seriously, get with the times peeps.
Is that a rather maintenance free setup? How many miles you get out of that before needing to tear down?
Yes, with this particular engine, they do not require any maintenance outside of normal oil changes etc, a engine at this HP level however should be inspected and rebuilt on a yearly basis. Methanol or E85 fuel may require the plastic wear strips on the chain guides to be replaced more often due to the chemical softening that these fuels tend to do to them but this would be any engine using those types of fuels.
No bumping old threads. Give us something new to drool on.
Wow us. Let me see you guys hit 3000hp.
Go on....turn that boost up a hair. You know you want to....
BTW, loving the bottom end pieces I'm rocking from you boys.
“Do not require normal maintenance outside of normal oil changes....except they should be rebuilt on a yearly basis. “
This quote needs to go in the marketing hall of fame.
