Hate and rage cloud people's good judgement and common sense.

Cry baby's don't win 7 championships.

Money was never an issue on his salary alone. Some of the elite players want the status of being the highest paid player in the league and Brady wasn't one of them, even though he should have been.
Winning was the most important thing to him and although he took less, the team still cheaped out on talent.
Cheapened on offense weapons but not O-line. I would say, Belichick overpayed SOME O guys and defense.

Defense were almost always top 10 in endzone, so understandable where the money went there. But usually, they didnt have huge playmakers like other teams did hence my comment about overpaying.

Well, he is 41. What team wants a 41 year old 1 year contract dude?

Politicians are not to be trusted.

The Patriots did it last year with Jacoby Brissett. Granted Brissett isn't 41 but he was only here as a bridge to Drake Maye and a team trying to develop a young qb might see Rodgers in the same way.

I actually hate to see Rodgers go if in fact he either retires or doesn't hook up with a team. He is the last link from the last generation of the great quarterbacks.

I actually think Aaron has some gas left in the tank.

Because he's a team atmosphere cancer.

Is he though? Or is it the losing culture of the Jets that are the cancer? Not everyone is going to like you but Aaron Rodgers is generally well liked by his ex-teammates.

Here is 1 long time ex-teammate on Rodgers.

Born and raised Brockton. Living in Naples.
My best friend down here. Retired NYPD cop from manhattan. Lifelong Jets fan.
Day one when the Jets acquired Roger’s I asked him if he was happy and excited about it.

Nope.
He said the Jets are losers. Will always be losers and he’ll either get hurt or just suck because he’s a Jet now.
I would not be surprised if he went somewhere else and succeeded.

Btw going to a Mets spring training game with him on Saturday over and up in Port St Lucie. Haven’t been there in about 10 years.

In some ways he’s the smartest man I ever met.
Retired from the police and got into custom cabinet making then learned all aspects of home improvement. He’s the only person I let work on my house down here.
He’s a perfectionist so the projects are slow but I don’t rush for anything.

I spoke with 2 coaches I know and a player after 6 months with the Jets, and Rodgers was an issue.
