Lots of cool whips. If you register to go there how much is it and do you have to show like serious proof that you're going there to buy a car?

It’s snowing here so nice to see sun and sweet rides.
What’d you buy? :)

Thanks Bud! Nothing bought this year. First year I haven’t purchased a car for my birthday. Saving as much as I can this next year for another revision surgery on my knee. Last year was costly, but I can assure you that MK4 Black Supra had my attention.

So many really nice vehicles there. So hard to pick favorites. That teal Boss 302 definitely caught my eye!

Thanks for taking the time to post all of those great photos you took!

Few pics from Harrisburg, PA this past summer. If anyone happens to go just as a spectator the Gold tickets seem to be the deal, as you had better seating and free food/drink. Beer was stadium pricing.

If your an MCA member, there is a code for a discount (note this might be going away later this year).

Registering to bid at both Mecum and BJ, when you factor in the multiple day gate admission, parking pass, a guest pass, and all of the included drinks, actually winds up being a relative bargain for the amount it takes to register.

Chose Barrett this year, vs Mecum (was at Kissimmee last year). Will return to Mecum next year.

Happy to Post for you Gents. Next year I’d like to take a better Camera and get some better photos versus some off my IPhone. We ended up being there for 12 hours and walked 9 miles, and still didn’t see all of them in one day.

All the treasures..

Would love to own:

Orange Viper TA
Black Supra
Kenny Brown 03 Cobra
Red Anniversary Edition 02 SS (must be 6spd)

The checkered flag embossing on the headrest of that vette was a sweet touch. Never seen that before.

Thanks for taking/sharing the photos!

Awesome pics! It's great we have a SVTP correspondent there. A couple years ago I went to Mecum Monterey with Team Shelby and got to go up on the auctioneers block and "hammer the sale" for a nice old Bronco. That was a lot of fun.

9 miles is a lot of walking. Hope you had comfortable shoes, LOL. Was the visibility of the cars staging good from your seat? Or did you have to rely on the screen.

I haven't been to a live auction since BJ back around 2010 in Scottsdale. I remember visibility was pretty good if you grabbed a seat early. If you waiting or walked around a lot, you ended up sitting too far back and had to rely on the screens.

God I'd love to be there! It's a huge car show . But ideally I wish I could buy 4-5 cars from there. Been watching it!

I went to Harrisburg in 2019, just before Covid hit. Went with a friend of mine who was interested in a particular car so he was a buyer and I was his guest. Pretty much had full access except the high dollar seats, but we were able to go right up by the stage and check things out while they were in line etc. Had a great time. Lotta interesting people and a lot of interesting cars. I think he had to show proof of funds through his bank to a certain amount to be registered buyer. Would definitely go again – maybe this year .
