That time of year again. Hockey is back.

I like what the Bruins did in the off season adding size and gnarl. It's something they've lacked for a while now. Don't know if it will translate into a deeper playoff run but we'll see how it plays out.
I still think they will be starved for goal scoring but they should have a solid defensive game which has been their MO for years anyway.

I don't see any clear favorites to go all the way but their should be plenty of competition for it. Lots of good teams out there.

We evacuated Naples Florida, and are 20 min from Sunrise right now. Too tired to go see the B's. Would be cool to see Panther's raise the banner.

Go B's

Bruins not even close to being on the same level as the Panthers. At least not tonight. Complete domination.

Red Wing fan. Waiting for home opener tomorrow.
I watch every game with my son when not on the ice with his 2 hockey teams.
Looking forward to another great NHL year.
Need to see the wings in the playoffs!

This is not your year. It’s over already.

No worries, I know. Luckily my passion for what have been my home teams has softened. Heck I didnt even watch the Pats this past weekend.

Also now spending so much time in SW FL, I feel ok embracing the Panthers. Dont think ill support the Lighting tho....

However, one thing for sure... There is a GOOD nasty brewing with Panthers and Bruins. So the remaining 3 times they meet (one is next week in Boston), should be entertaining.

I'm loving the rivalry building with the B's and Panthers. It's what the NHL is sorely missing. I believe why the Bruins beefed up this off season was due to being man handled by the Panthers the past couple years. Now they're the heaviest team in the NHL and while that doesn't guarantee wins, at least they won't be pushed around anymore.

only watched parts of Tampa's first 2 games but holy crap, how can you have 2 5-3s and not score? Power play going back to last season's playoffs has been horrid.

The Bruins strength was supposed to be their defense but man have they been bad so far. This might be a rough season for the Black and Gold.
Already this short into the season things are not going good. When you have the Devils, Rangers and Panthers leading the Eastern conference in points that is never good for me when dealing with Devils and Rangers fans in my area....lol...thankfully its a very long season....

Bruins fire Jim Montgomery. Writing was on the wall but the Bruins problems go much deeper than the head coach but as always, that's where the changes start.

Pens need a house cleansing. Hextall is a Flyer phaggott that has destroyed the franchise.

Is anyone watching this 4 nations tournament? Good stuff, great hockey, lots of high end skill but also still plenty of nasty. No love lost between USA and Canada.

I was skeptical and didn’t like the 13d off but goddam that’s been some great hockey.
USA and Canada dropping gloves first shift!
We had a tournament game for my son at 8pm last night and we were all watching from the bench :)
Much better than all star game.
