2021 Production Start

Earl - where does a guy go to check his status? I can't count on my dealer for anything.
Last I heard in early Feb, is my build date was March 6th.

I ordered a 2021 GT500 on 2/5/21 and already have a VIN. I was told there is potentially a build week of 4/12/21. Does anyone out there know when the production for the 2021 is scheduled to begin?

Here is the current Production Scheduling:


January 11, 2021

January 18, 2021

January 25, 2021

February 1, 2021

February 8, 2021

February 15, 2021

February 22, 2021

As you can see, they are currently completing scheduling for weeks of April, 2021. Production should begin next week but there is always a possibility of unforeseen delays due to controlled commodities, supplier, micro-chip, weather, etc.

Do not be surprised if your Scheduled Production Week or Date changes on the fly. My 2021 Production Date has already changed from March 1 to March 3 to March 5, and is now March 4. I should have one of the earliest GT500 Chassis Numbers off the line.

My order was changed to "In Production - Sent to Plant" today! No more Build Weeks or Date.
