I'd be tempted if they dropped the red sport 3.0TT in this thing...
I think it looks sick. Way better than the supra.
From everything I have heard/read that is the exact motor they are putting in this car
I don’t hate it, but it looks super bland to me. The interior looks good, but the side profile looks like the 370, and the front bumper just looks so bland and uninspired that it’s killing the whole vibe for me. I will say, I’m certain once some companies start making kits for them and you see some dropped on some nice wheels I’ll love them. Glad it’s being offered with a stick.
I like it, it is a little big, but I guess that would come from safety standards. Always liked the Z cars.
I find myself underwhelmed.
the current rumor is it will have a V6 TT, so it should have a VR30DDTT (from the red sport) with 400hp. should be an easy 450rwhp with a tune and maybe some e85. it will have a 6sp with an optional automatic.
The article I posted states that. I hope everyone is right who say it will be the 3.0TT.
Front needs to some rethought, but other than that it looks good. Would be awesome if it got a detuned GTR engine in it. Like the simplicity of it, cars nowadays are getting too busy.
Pick your poison.
I love it!!! If it looks like this with some other ques, I’m in.
Yeah, this. The GTR has great performance and WAS a sick car... A decade ago.
That 3.0TT isn't a detuned GTR engine . It's a completely different engine . Direct injection, air to water intercoolers. So much more complicated then GTR 3.8TT
Not sure about it yet. Maybe when i see it in person
Not a huge fan of the front but I do like the rear half of the car from the quarter panels back and I like the taillights. I'm sure a Nismo model would add the additional flare everyone is looking for. Thing with the Z cars is that they look cool for the first 6mo they are out and then they grow really bland. Nissan has a tendency of leaving cars without updates for a decade or longer and they need to change that.
Those things are pretty dope and quick! They are light weight and look better than the new Supra. They already make TT kits for them. Pretty tough to beat on the street with the TT kit. Power to weight.
They tend to look a lot better in person imo. IDN bout that front end tho.....
Ok, it's nice.
It looks good. Not like the previous 370z which was an identity crisis.
I like it.
Wouldn't buy it, but I like it.
I don’t think it looks bad at all. I’ve kind of liked the looks of the 370Z myself though.
On a side note, I have to sort of embarrassingly admit that until last year when I sat In someones 350Z, I had no idea they were 2 seaters.
As much as I enjoy having the rear seats in my Mustangs for kids, I have found myself wanting a two-seat coupe from Ford to compete with the Corvette for under 450,000...
Is Nissan's Z Proto Concept Really Just a Rebodied 370Z?
I used to be a fan of Nissan/Datsun. I have purchased 3 over the course of the years. 82 Datsun turbo, 85 Nissan turbo and 90 TT 300 ZX. After the TT, Nissan just sat on their ass with deferring to the overpriced out of reach GT-s. By the way Nissan overrated the HP on the 300 TT....300 hp in a friggin dream! Brother in law owned a Z-shop in Fla..said the bottom end too weak to build and the clutch assembly poorly built. I personally had 5 clutches replaced. Turbos were only good for 50k and then $1250 for each to replace. At around 4000 lbs was too heavy and my 95 Dakota Sport truck would blow the doors off to 60..I will not trust anything they put out until it actually shows up..
