Having bought an extended warranty for both an Explorer and a GT350, I have no idea what you're talking about. The costs weren't very different.

GT350 Engine Failure: By The Numbers - Overrun

thanks for the link

as far as the warranty, ill talk to my local dealer about it but ill use flood ford esp as a reference

2020 raptor 8 year 100k miles $0 deductible $1975
2020 GT/GT500 8 year 100k miles $0 deductible $1795
2020 GT350/GT350R 8 year 100k miles $0 deductible $5600

maybe this is a recent increase with all the problems they are having? another online ford extended warranty dealer had similar numbers.

I know its a different scenario but I came close to buying a Ford Buyback 2017 model with a brand new Longblock, Transmission and New Clutch. It came with a 12 month free warranty but the extended warranty by Ford was 1,900 bucks if I had purchased it.

i paid $2800 for 10/100/0 for my raptor from my dealer so i never have to worry about dealing with problems for as long as i have it. if i get a 350r i would like to do the same but the prices im seeing are outrageous.

Yes I’m assuming the GT500 at $1900 is a mistake or smoking deal.
$5600 for the 350s is insane.
