Guy talks about DCT too . My last car and current car has DCT , love them so far and all my previous performance cars were manual . 2020 Gt500 will be my third car with DCT

510tq......no wonder it hooked so well on street tires.

I have a feeling that transmission isn't going to like much more tq.

Exactly , high TQ numbers are overrated . Short gearing fast shifting transmissions can overcome all the useless TQ down low

Everyone is an expert how much power this new DCT will take now without 0 knowledge LOL .Stock R8/ Huracan don't make shit for TQ [413TQ crank] . There are TT cars out there making well over 1000whp and 700WTQ on completly stock DCT . Clutch is the first weakest point on DCT

Doesn't this dolt know that " STD " is an SAE calibration ? ( SAE J607 )( uncorrected )
What he calls SAE is ( SAE J1349 )( corrected ) and what Ford & other OEM's use when stating hp & tq #'s...

SAE J1349 refers to engine horsepower output, not wheel.

Good video. I wonder how much boost the whipple GT350 was making? My guess is 9 or 10 psi.

Really cant go wrong these days. The new 500 sure is a looker and the aftermarket support is going to be STRONG.

I'm certainly no expert and I'm sure there are GTR and lambos making big power with a dct, but for how long?

Generally, people who have TT lambo money are not concerned about rebuilding a transmission. Generally, people with a mustang are a bit more concerned about longevity and being able to fix the problem on their own.

I expect a pulley and tune to pick up at least 100tq, with all the nannies off.
